I hope they release season 2 as well! Pops is a trip,too.In addition to this DVD I recommend "In living Color Season 2" and "White Chicks" !!

Scary Movie 2 (2001) Review

(More customer reviews)Hi, I'm from the UK and I'm not sure what US critics think of Scary Movie 2, but the UK critics hate it. I don't though, I thought it was better than the first movie ( which is my favourite comedy ) and it's a brilliant movie.
The first scene featuring their re-make of the Exorcist had me laughing so hard as well as everyone else in the cinema. The undertaker is also a funny character with his disfigured arm which adds many scenes of laughter.
Sure, the plot is kinda weird but it's very funny and mocks those films we love including "Hannibal, Charlie's Angels, House on Haunted Hill and Mission Impossible 2". The scene where Cindy and her new love interest are trapped in a walk-in freezer (Hollow Man) mocks that tear-jerking scene in Titanic (where Leo and Kate are freezing in the water) and made me laugh very hard.
So, anyway, go and see it and I'm sure you'll love it. I will definitely buy the DVD of it.

Scary Movie (2000) Review

(More customer reviews)Scary Movie turned out what I thought it to be (a halirious movie with people getting killed off in wacky ways and silly parodies of recent horror movies) and what I didn't think it to be (showing ...ahem... small full frontal male nudity, and a major major gross scene). The Wayans have majorly beat the "There's Something About Mary" creators with the most gross-out jokes ever displayed in a movie. Anyway, Scary Movie was a good funny movie. The acting, for a parody, was great. And even though it followed Scream by every scene almost, there were other movies parodied and mentioned. For example: I Know What You Did Last Summer, The Matrix, American Pie, The Blair Witch Project, Amistad, Shakespeare in Love, Friday the 13th, and I even caught something that dealt with The Exorcist. And how they copied Tatum's death scene was hilarious. If I say anymore, I will give out what plot here is to the movie, so I'm going to stop. Go check it out!

(More customer reviews)With the Passing of Actor, Rapper, Tu Pac Shakur we may never know how great his acting could have gotten. In this 1994 memorable performance he puts in a chemistry that connects well to his story.This movie may have one of the simplest storylines about basketball honor but it is really a metaphor for deeper issues. Kyle played well by Duayne Martin is a high school basketball great who needs more coaching than his coach can handle because most of his needs are off the court. Shep (Leon) is a former high school great who never made the big leagues beacause he was accused of killing his brother during a one on one game on a roof. Shep taunted his brother for not being near the player he was but obviously never intended manslaughter. The interesting piece is that Shep has a mental block and cannot move past this incident. He even seems to be in severe depression. Kyle needs coaching and Shep needs to be needed. Seems simple. Not so fast! In comes Birdie played by Tu Pac who is livid when his living big brother Shep returns to bury their dead mother and wants no part of his underworld ways. Birdies influence is more effective on Kyle than Shep, But that's about to change! Good perfomances by Marlon Waynans, Kyles friend Bugaloo and Bernie Mac the bumb in the park, Flip. Good Soundtrack. The movie moves fast but keys in on more than just jumpers and foul shots. This is not a movie about basketball rather a basketball movie about people with zeal, integrity, emptiness and anti social behavior. Some characters have more than one trait. Some have more than one flaw. While watching this one you'll want to see where everyone ends up.
