Hulk Hogan's not only the world's most famous wrestler - he's also a very traditional suburban dad who just so happens to live on a 20,000-square-foot estate in Clearwater, Florida. Daughter Brooke (16) wants to be a pop star, and son Nick (14) wants to be a race car driver. As Hulk and his wife Linda watch their kids grow up before their eyes, they're more committed than ever to protecting them from sex, drugs, and the other evils of modern life.

Nick and Brooke decide to take advantage of the situation and ask Knobs if they can have some people sleep over. Trying to be cool baby sitters, he agrees. The sleepover gets out of hand when some of their friends show up. Meanwhile, Hulk and Linda are enjoying a romantic dinner alone, despite the many interruptions from wrestling fans.
06. Hogans Versus City Hall
The Hogan family is at war with the town of Bellaire, Florida over the number of pets they have. The onetime menagerie of more than a dozen has been whittled down to five animals plus a permitted rooster after their next-door neighbor complained to the town. But Bellaire officials are playing hardball: They send the Hogans a letter saying the family is in violation of the town code, and a hearing is scheduled. After another heated confrontation between Linda and the neighbor's gardener, they go to the hearing. Will the Hogans have to give up their precious pets? Or will the family stand strong on principle?
07. Hulk's Hobbies
After 25 years on the road wrestling, Hulk has always had an outlet for his energy and aggression by body-slamming people nightly. Now that he's home, he's bored and antsy -- and driving his family nuts. Brooke, Nick and Linda all try to find Hulk a hobby. First Hulk tries golf at an exclusive country club -- but he's much too tense for that. Next he tries tennis, but ends up drinking beer on the court with a buddy. Finally, Brooke suggests pilates -- is this what Hulk needs to loosen him up?
HOGAN KNOW`S BEST Season 2

But Hulk and wife Linda would prefer to see their son enjoy childhood a bit longer.

Nick will attempt to be more responsible so Hulk will allow him to get his learner's permit. As Hulk and Linda worry both children have become too complacent with a life of luxury, they force to the children to get jobs to pay off their credit card debts. Hulk undergoes a series of medical procedures so he can keep up with the young guns in the wrestling ring and animal-lover Linda befriends an orphan monkey. And the Hogans all travel to Los Angeles to shoot a movie together as a family
08. Brooke Breaks Away
Fed up with the craziness of the household and her family's constant interference in every aspect of her life, Brooke pleads to go on a trip to LA or Miami. Instead, she is allowed to spend the weekend with a friend at the nearby family beach house while Hulk and Linda promise to respect her privacy. But Hulk's overprotective gene acts up immediately and he begins spying on her every move. When he finds something he's not supposed to, family tensions erupt.
09. Kids Get A Reality Check
Hulk and Linda are tired of Brooke and Nick's carefree spending and their lack of help around the house. In an effort to teach the kids a sense of responsibility and show them the value of a dollar, Hulk lands them jobs at the local diner. Can a few days of waiting tables, washing dishes and serving needy customers enlighten the kids about what it takes for the average Joe to get by?
10. Family Vacation
It's time for the annual Hogan family vacation to Key West. Hulk and Linda are used to the family sticking together, but now the kids are older and want to ditch mom and dad. Hulk and Linda give them a few hours to tour the streets after Nick promises to watch over his sister. But Brooke goes off to the beach by herself and doesn't check in with the family. Hulk and Linda fret about Brooke's disappearance and the fraying family ties. Hulk will do anything to bring the family back together, even if it means going to a drag show!
11. Nick Gets The Bug
Nick has always admired his Dad's career in the wrestling ring. While at a professional match, Nick gets a first hand lesson from some world class wrestlers and asks Hulk if he can get into the family business. After Dad shows him the tricks of the trade, Nick gets the bug and pushes Dad to set up a real match. Linda and Hulk fear what might happen to a 15 year old in the ring. So Hulk diverts Nick by showing him the importance of showmanship and signs him up for acting lessons.
12. Hogans Go Hollywood
Lights! Camera! Hogans! Through Hulk's business savvy, the entire Hogan clan gets cast in a movie -- Little Hercules in 3D. Hulk plays the Greek god Zeus. Nick, now interested in an acting career, plays a leading villain. Linda is a sexy secretary and Brooke performs a song at a high school dance. They're all in the limelight, but things aren't perfect on the set. Brooke attracts the attention of an older man and choreographs a risque dance routine. So Hulk needs to spend more time watching over her than working on his own lines.
13. Anniversary Surprise
Hulk and Linda are celebrating 22 years of marriage and Linda wants to mark the occasion by taking ballroom dancing lessons. Hulk reluctantly agrees but walks out on Linda when she jokingly insults his technique. He becomes even more incensed when she continues to go to class without him. Can the children reconcile the couple before the big anniversary date?
14. The Hogan Boyfriend Test
Brooke is practicing her songs for a big showcase at a Miami nightclub and she asks Jerry, a fellow touring musician, to come to Florida to help her prepare. But it seems that Jerry is more than just a friend. Hulk gets worried he may no longer be the main man in Brooke's life. So he decides to put Jerry through various tests of manhood to see if he's Hogan material.
15. Twilight of a God
Hulk's wrestling career is winding down and it takes more than ever to stay on top, including nerve injections to reduce pain in his back and laser treatments to keep a youthful look. After a particular bloody match, the family begs Hulk to find a new way to make a living. Hulk decides to try the corporate route, doing commercials, endorsing energy drinks and creating a new product where he can finally make peace with a lost opportunity from his past.
16. Rent-a-Guru
Linda's feeling lethargic and overweight and thinks she needs advice beyond Hulk's "train hard, say your prayers and eat your vitamins." She hires a new age guru to visit the house and give all the Hogans a healthy lifestyle makeover. The guru tries to replace all the items in the Hogan refrigerator and helps cleanse the property of "hungry ghosts." But when the guru suggests colonics for everyone, Hulk decides he's had enough and schemes with the rest of the family to break free of the guru's hold.

C.S.I. Miami - The Complete Fourth Season (2002) Review

C.S.I. Miami - The Complete Fourth Season (2002)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This fourth season of the flashiest of the CSI franchises is packed with a lot of personal dilemmas squeezed in with the usual vicious crimes. David Caruso's cool Horatio has to deal with the return of serial killer Walter Resden; a romance with Eric's cancer-stricken sister; and the possible closedown of his lab. Emily Procter's lovely Caleigh finds herself discovering a few things about her Federal agent boyfriend and dealing with an incompetent replacement (Joshua Leonard) in the firearms division; Adam Rodriguez's Eric is ridden with financial problems, his ill sister and possible drug charges; Khandi Alexander's stoic coroner Alexx finds herself in the middle of the murder of a known pedophile, and possibly losing her job because she's doctored Ryan on the sly; and Jonathan Togo's Ryan finds himself injured in a confrontation with a killer and possibly losing his eyesight. Whew! It's all done in typical CSI fashion and I am a big fan of these shows, so I loved it. The crimes are all fascinating and the technical aspects right up there. If you like CSI MIAMI, you'll love this great season.

Miami Vice - Season Two (1984) Review

Miami Vice - Season Two (1984)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The second season of vice is arguably the best and here are some of the reasons why: The Prodigal Son -- the premiere two hour episode may be the best vice, ironic that it takes place in New York, not Miami. Features Penn Gillette and Jean Simmons. Out Where the Buses Don't Run -- brought up by another reviewer and for good reason. Great music and atmosphere featuring that guy from Animal House and The Insider. Definately Miami-- featuring Ted Nugent as a psychopathic drug dealer and Arielle Dombasle as his psychopathic girlfriend that Crockett almost falls for. Great music again and great ending featuring "Cry" by Cream. Little Miss Dangerous -- great music and a great story about a homicidal hooker who Tubbs takes under his wing. Trust Fund Pirates is also a great one -- rich, trust fund kids who take to being pirates and robbing drug smugglers on the open seas out of boredom features Rick Belzer and Noogie "Nug man" Lamonte. Bushido some fans did not care for it but I loved it. It was directed by Edward James Olmos and gives some background on Castillo's spook days as he goes after an old friend who has become a double agent. Different music and a different feel. A really great opening scene in this one as Crockett and Tubbs use night vision and Zito hides under the sand with a snorkel! Sons and LOvers is an important episode in which Tubbs former lover, Angelica, comes back (remember from Return of Calderone) with some bad news for Tubbs. This was an important episode for the history of vice and the Calderone saga. Unfortunatley, this season featured a couple of the lamer episodes such as: The Fix -- Bill Russell as a judge with a gambling habit forces his son to fix a basketball game (but does have a powerful ending) and French Twist -- where a french cop chases a french bad guy and Crockett falls (sort of) for the cop. I did not care for these two episodes, although they weren't horrible and I'll enjoy watching them again. But other than those two, this is probably the best season of vice by far!

Burn Notice - Season One Review

Burn Notice - Season One
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Michael Westen: "Most people would be thrilled to be dumped in Miami. Sadly, I am not most people...I've never found a good way to hide a gun in a bathing suit."
When you're a spy, getting a burn notice means that you've been officially deemed unreliable by your covert brethren, and that you're no longer wanted in the cloak-and-dagger community. Always good at rubbing people the wrong way, international spy Michael Westen (Jeffrey Donovan, TOUCHING EVIL) is in Nigeria brokering a deal with a terrorist when he learns of his burn notice over a cell phone. Barely skedaddling out of Nigeria with his life, Michael somehow finds himself stranded in his hometown of Miami, with his finances frozen, his options about nil, and former friends and colleagues keeping far, far away.
Michael decides to lay low for a while and, because a man has just got to make a living somehow, becomes a makeshift private investigator and troubleshooter. But, even as he takes on the criminal elements in Miami, his overriding objective remains finding out why he was blacklisted. But it's hard going as, mysteriously, no one will tell him anything. Meanwhile, various spooks are monitoring his every move. So, something's going on...
Yup, I dig this show. The USA Network's BURN NOTICE proved to be one of the more pleasant surprises of 2007. Not having seen a lot of Jeffrey Donovan's work, I'm still quickly becoming a fan. He brings a wry, deadpan charm to the show, and he looks like there's stuff just churning underneath his character's self-contained exterior. And it's exactly because of this distant persona that I appreciate Michael Westen providing a very quotable, "been there, done that" voice-over narration. This device not only engages us further but also makes us privy to Westen's cynical inner musings, as well as giving us frequently amusing first hand advice on various stuff. No, it's not exactly life lessons that he's imparting. Rather, it's more of a tutorial on espionage and breaking heads. Y'know, the cool stuff. For example, Westen, on fighting: "You don't want to break the little bones in your hands, so you look for a bathroom, which has plenty of hard edges and surfaces." On guns: "Guns make you stupid. Better to fight your wars with duct tape. Duck tape makes you smart." Or on setting traps: "A good trap doesn't scare people, it makes them curious." And, so on and et cetera. Dude's often wry observations make my day. Someone should put together a quotation book, because I'd shell out.
Chemistry rears its beautiful head. Donovan's supporting cast is very good, and two of them are very engaging. Westen's tiny circle of trust consists of three folks. There's his sexy and fiery Irish ex-girlfriend Fiona (gorgeous Brit, Gabrielle Anwar). Fi is an ex-IRA agent and into mayhem and violence, and, of her, Westen unequivocably states, "I am NOT hooking up with her. I need her for tactical support." (sure, sure). Slovenly Sam Axe (Bruce Campbell, who's casually let himself go) is Westen's long-time buddy and a semi-retired spy. Now Sam helps Westen out on cases, and vice versa. And then there's Westen's irritating dragon of a mother, Madeline (Sharon Gless, CAGNEY & LACEY), who is a champion emotional blackmailer. Gless is effective at channeling Doris Roberts from EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND. So if you're hating on Gless's character, then she's just being brilliant.
BURN NOTICE, with its first season's 12 episodes, brings it with suspense and some action, and with humor and a rocky romance, even if I could do without the fractured family stuff. It's a well-done lighthearted spy & crime drama, with an element of the sting, and it left me craving for more episodes. Jeffrey Donovan might just have found his breakout role in the glib and uber capable but emotionally detached Michael Westen. Certainly, he makes for a compelling character. I enjoy how he uses his Special Ops training to satisfyingly one-up Miami's teeming lowlifes. And, all along, there's slow progress being made on the whole burn notice arc. The writing is smart, the production values are terrific. And it doesn't hurt that BURN NOTICE is filmed in sun-drenched, visually arresting Miami, so give the show some style points. I definitely don't have anything against babes and bikinis and margaritas and martinis.
Michael Westen, who dislikes his hometown, might beg to differ, but, hey, bienvenido a Miami. And bring on Season 2.

C.S.I. Miami - The Complete First Season (2002) Review

C.S.I. Miami - The Complete First Season (2002)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Being a CSI las Vegas fan, I wasn't happy when they made CSI Miami. I picked this up due to the summer break of CSI, I needed something.. and this was my choice! I can honestly say that it was a worthwhile purchase after having watched all of the episodes. True David Caruso is no Gil Grissom, but would you want him to be? The feel of the series is very different with the set being in Miami. The cast is on par with the Las vegas cast. Las Vegas has a more personal feel to it, as many times the originals bring their personal lives into the story (i.e. Catherine being a stripper, Warrick being a Gambler), and you don't find that as much in Miami. The focus seems to stay more to the storyline.
Kim Delaney was a welcome cast-off in my opinion. She dragged the series down with her poor attitude, and had no chemistry with David Caruso. She came across as an uptight investigator who had no interest in getting along with her fellow CSIs, or have any passion in getting the truth. I was very glad when she finally left.
Another difference between Las Vegas and Miami that is striking is how each CSI is an expert in their certain field. Callegh is the "Bullet Girl", Speedle is the AV expert, Delco is the Diving tech who speaks russian, and spanish, acts as the go between the Cuban community and the MDPD. Alexx talks to her patients as they were still alive, and in general is friendlier then Al Robbins of Las Vegas.
In conclusion, try it, the two CSIs are comparable, like the many Law and Order spinoffs, you can choose your favorite, but in my opinion each one is strong, and holds its own. You can enjoy either, but take a vacation from Las Vegas to Miami.

Shottas (2002) Review

Shottas (2002)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This was Cess Silva's 1st film and it was a very good movie, it explores the life of two Jamaican childhood best friends who grew up dirt poor & raggedy in the slums of Kingston, Jamaica. The friends (Biggs & Wayne)shared common goals, and each wanted to be rich with money, power & respect and wouldn't stop until they got to the top and had the best life possible. The movie takes you on a roller coaster ride while it explores friendship, loyalty, ambition, crime, pain, love, deceit/betrayal and teaches you a lessons. The loyalty, love and respect Wayne, Biggs & Mad Max have for one another as friends is almost farfetched nowadays, no one got jealous of the other one, no hating or backstabbing, just true brotherly love. They were down for each other and fearless. At the end Biggs learned a painful lesson when his demons finally catch up to him and he has to pay in many ways that money nor fine luxuries can't buy. I'll admit it was an underground movie and leaves alot to be desired which may come if there's a sequel, but being this is the director's first movie, I give him 5 stars for effort and for the delectable eye candy (Kymani Marley & Spragga Benz). In his next effort I'm sure he'll have a plot and other essentials in a good movie.
This is a good movie and anyone from the hood, the Caribbean and born African American can definately relate, I feel as though this movie is just as good as Scarface, The Godfather and Belly for that much, these rappers and artists that have no formal acting coaching did a superb job!

In the tradition of Scarface and The Harder They Come, Shottas is an unapologetic raw urban drama about two friends raised on the dangerous streets of Kingston, Jamaica. Biggs (Kymani Marley) and Wayne (Spragga Benz) take on the "shotta" (Jamaican term for gangster) way of life to survive. As young boys, they begin a life of crime, eventually moving to the U.S., where they begin a ruthless climb from the bottom to the glittering top of a criminal enterprise in a Miami filled with fast cars and gorgeous women. The two men remain fiercely bound by their shottas loyalty as they aggressively take control of the Jamaican underworld.
