(More customer reviews)THESE DVD'S ARE CENSORED!!!(thats why i gave them 4 stars)Now i love the show and the movie was awesome, so when i found out these dvd's were coming out, i pre-ordered them first chance i got...later i saw the covers for them, which have a parental advisory on them, so naturally i thought, "FINALLY some uncut jackass!"(excluding the movie). Well now i find out that they are still bleeped! theres nothing i can do now, they're bought and paid for, and im still glad i have them but it should have been stated somewhere that they would still be censored. Also, there is NO added or unaired footage. Everything on here was on tv. If you don't mind the beeps, then they are still awesome! and a final comment for the 2 who say otherwise, volume one will NOT be released next year or anytime for that matter, INSTEAD there are supposed to be full UNCENSORED seasons coming to dvd once the legal situation is solved, key word there "SUPPOSED".

Due to some random haggard circumstances, Volume 1 of the Jackass TV series isn't coming out anytime soon. But in the meantime here's Volume 2 & 3. Volume two of the Jackass series contains a random, haggard selection of segments and bits that aired on our crappy little television show. Remarkable moments in this half-ass collection include Chris Pontius masquerading as an American werewolf and creating panic in the streets of London, Johnny Knoxville sticking his arm right up a cow's butt, Bam Margera and Brandon Dicamillo taking the hockey gloves off and brawling in the middle of a café, Ehren McGhehey falling flat on his pink face while skateboarding blindfolded, and a bunch of other absurd stunts, pranks and queer misbehavior from our bumbling cat and crew of idiots. Volume three of the Jackass series contains a random, haggard selection of segments and bits that aired on our crappy little television show. Memorable moments in this half-ass collection include the recitation of the Gettysburg Address by Johnny Knoxville while a beard of leeches is applied to his ruggedly handsome face, Chris Pontius stripping down for the pleasure of five other dudes, Wee Man and Preston Lacy pulling a "poo switcheroo" with a porta-potty, Dave England digging through the trash and unearthing a tasty treat in a diaper, and a bunch of other absurd stunts, pranks and queer misbehavior from our bumbling cat and crew of idiots.

I bought this DVD for my girl for Christmas and she could not have been any happier, she is absolutely in love with Bam. So it was a big hit with her which made me a big hit with her, nice. Any way I watched this with her that night which was ok because I am a fan of Bam and all them so it was cool. It has been a while since anything new has come out from these guys so I was excited to watch it, I knew it would good.
The movie is all about Bam and company taking a trip to the Arctic Circle some where in Finland trying to find the real Santa Claus. Apparently the only thing left for Bam to get his wife Missy since she has everything she could possibly want he decides that the real Santa is the only logical gift. Accompanying him on this trip is his brother Jess and Chad I. Ginsburg from CKY, Mark Hanna, Joe Frantz, and a personal favorite of mine Brandon Novak. Back at home Missy and Bam's parents have to put up with not only two members of The Bloodhound Gang [including the ever funny Jimmy Pop] but also S***Goose, and Mark the Bagger. One of the main driving points behind this film is the two bets that are going down with the Bagger, one with Novak and one with Bam. With Novak is a bet to see who can get the most girls, and with Bam it is whether or not the real Santa is in Finland. The prize for the Bagger against Novak is a sexy robot and with Bam it is none other then Bam's wife Missy, yes he bets her.
In Finland the boys harass each other and by that I mean mostly Bam messing with Novak pretty hard, I feel so bad for this guy all through the entire film. Also along the way they decide that they need a map so Hanna is volunteered to get a horrible map tattooed on his stomach. Of course it would not be a Bam related film if HIM is not involved some how, so while in Finland they stop of at HIM's rehearsal studio to get directions and advice and also film a performance. Also the 69 Eyes and a few other bands pop up every now and then, but it is the appearance of the Dudesons that excites me. These guys are crazy beyond words and I love that they do not just cameo they are threw out the entire film. These guys just add a whole new dimension to the movie and even are involved in one of the grossest parts of the movie. All I am going to say is it involves eye balls, Novak and a male's part [if you know what I mean] from a dead animal.
Back in the states Missy and Bam's parents are hard at work at working on a huge surprise party for Bam, while the B.H. Gang and the Bagger are out looking for girls. The girl hunting parts are hilarious, especially when Jimmy Pop dresses up as Bam and gives the Bagger the worst advice on getting girls ever. Of course when they finally get some girls to come back to castle Bam with them two very funny players from Bam's new movie "MINGHAGS" show up, classic moment. Mean while back in Finland all the guys have to hike, travel by dog sled, reindeer, and snow mobile to reach Santa's house only to find Santa is on vacation. Do they ever find him before they head home, you will have to watch and see but there is a nice party waiting for them when they return home and all ends well {sort of} for Novak eventually. He even gets one over on Bam; excellent moment indeed [well played sir, well played].
Bam as always is his usual jerk yet funny self all through out this entire movie, as is Jimmy Pop and the Bagger [the funny part not jerk]. Chad and Jess are great as well, great to see those guys in this [OVER HERE], you will get that once you watch it. Hanna and Frantz as expected are just as funny as the rest; still Hanna's best thing was his over the top laugh on "Haggard". Everyone else in the movie is great but the show stealer is definitely Novak {who is the star, and rightfully so} with out a doubt, he is this movie's Dico I guess you could say. And of course you know the Dudesons are hilarious only adding nothing but laughs, poor Novak he hates these guys. And yes people this is a movie, a thought out written down in screenplay format movie based in reality. Bam, Frantz, and Joe De Vito wrote a hilarious film and Bam and De Vito's direction is seamless, Bam also serves not only as a producer but as an Executive producer as well.
This movie is worth every penny in my opinion and is beyond a rental, I suggest you buy this because it truly is a funny movie. If you liked Jackass, Viva La Bam, CKY, and especially Haggard then you will love this. And sure Dico, Dunn, Rake, and Raab are nowhere to be found on this DVD, but those who are make this hilarious. And who knows maybe in the future all of them will eventually work together again, maybe a "Where the #### are those guys" will be in the works. Still you can catch all those guys plus all these guys in "Minghags".

(More customer reviews)Yes kiddies, if Volume 2 wasn't enough for you, "Jackass: Volume 3" is here to give you more laughs, more cringes, more sickness, and more pain. Some people think the show is utterly stupid and pointless. Yeah.... and the problem is? That's why it's so funny.
This isn't for people with weak stomachs. A lot of the things you're going to see on this DVD are going to make you sick and cringe a lot... but you'll be laughing like hell if you're a sick and twisted S.O.B. like me!
When you purchase Volume 3, expect to see this: Bounty hunter, beard of leeches, full pipe skating, bottle skating, hot dog skate boarding, security guard, nutball, spermathon, fat ---- #2, and much, much more. Once again, nakedness is blurred (not really a bad thing if you ask me) and cuss words are bleeped. Still I do not know why they feel that the actually swearing has to be bleeped out and yet swears in the background music can still be left in. Oh well.
And again, no spectacular special features included, but it's the 77 minutes of hilarity and madness of the actual show that counts. The few features included are things like a trivia game, photo gallery, and cast bios.
So if you think you can take another dose of Jackass, then by all means pick up "Jackass: Volume 3." While it may not be as good as Volume 2, it is still a very worthy purchase. Be prepared to laugh, cringe, and be disgusted. All that fun stuff, right? I thought you'd agree with me.
Kids, don't try this at home. Until you are an actual member of the official show, just stick to watching so I don't have to hear parents and the news complain about how terrible of a show it is. All right? Think you can do that? Great. Thank you.

MTV - Viva La Bam - The Complete First Season (2003) Review

(More customer reviews)No matter how bad your parents thought you were as a kid, they should thank their lucky stars that they aren't Phil and April Margera. Professional skateboarder and all-around pain in the ass, Bam Margera is the Dennis the Menace for the new millennium. After the Jackass show ended it splintered off into two strains, one of which, Viva La Bam, stars Bam and his crew (other Jackass survivors, Ryan Dunn, Raab Himself, Rake Yorn, Brandon DiCamillo) as they find new ways to torment his long-suffering parents. Bam and his gang pull all sorts of pranks and stunts to make his parents' lives a living hell. Throw in the nearly incomprehensible Don Vito (Phil's rather large brother) and you've got the makings for one of the more entertaining reality shows.
Fans will be pleased to know that all the episodes are featured gloriously uncut with all the cuss words intact! Breathe easy, parents. The uncut nastiness is limited to the language. The shameless nudity is still blurred.
There are audio commentaries for every episode by Bam, Phil, April, Ryan, Brandon, Rake, Tim and Raab. As you can imagine, these are pretty funny, chaotic tracks as Bam and co. dish on all sorts of behind-the-scenes stories. Bam, obviously, dominates these tracks, but his mom does comment quite a bit as well. Although, the glaring omission of Don Vito is unacceptable!
There are nine deleted scenes, including more footage of Bam building a skate park in his parent's house and Raab under the thrall of a hypnotist while the boys were in Las Vegas.
"Scavenger Hunt List" is the entire list of tasks that had to be accomplished from the season's climatic final episode.
"Q&A**Holes" is a bunch of text screens with the cast answering several questions not so seriously.
There is a small collection of behind-the-scenes photos.
There is also music video's for Bam's brother's band, CKY, Clutch, Turbonegro and the DiCamillo Sisters (basically Brandon, Bam and the lead singer from the Bloodhound Gang).
For such a nonsensical show there is a surprisingly amount of extras that are all done in the same flavour as the show. Even the menus capture the vibe of the show, which is a nice touch. Fans will no doubt dig this collection while all others are advised to stay far away! You may not derive any deep meaning from this show but there are worse ways to kill a Friday night.

The Ringer (2005) Review

(More customer reviews)Having seen most of Johnny Knoxville's film oeuvre, I have not been particularly impressed. I've admired some elements of the smaller films (Daltry Calhoun, Grand Theft Parsons) that he's done to extend his acting cred, but have found most of his "blockbuster" work (Dukes, Walking Tall) to be passable, at best, and excruciating, at worst. I'll admit, I was not first in line to see "The Ringer." The concept of Knoxville going undercover as a participant in the Special Olympics seemed like a disaster waiting to happen. In this world of political correctness, even the hint of impropriety threatens to derail questionable projects (much to my chagrin, most of the time), so I just didn't see how it was possible that this story was going to be made. But made it was, and with the full cooperation of the Special Olympics!
With minimal expectations, I actually found "The Ringer" to be very funny and filled with heart. Without a question, I feel this is Johnny Knoxville's best screen performance to date. He's wickedly funny, surprisingly sympathetic, and a credible romantic lead all rolled into one. In a scheme that is entered into with good intentions, Knoxville infiltrates the Special Olympics with the help of his uncle (a hysterically dark turn from Brian Cox). There, he finds it much more challenging than he had anticipated--both physically in the sporting events and mentally as it's difficult to maintain his cover. Of course, it doesn't help matters that he falls for a lovely volunteer (natch) played by "Grey's Anatomy"'s Katherine Heigl.
Of course, much of the humor is physical and much might be considered offensive in certain camps. I, for one, found it refreshing that the other participants of the Olympics were not portrayed as "saints" but as real people. The front-runner, for example, is an outright villain. And when Knoxville is set up on a blind date with a disabled girl, she is dismissive and irritable and downright mean. It's a progressive and unusual view, as most movies on this subject show exclusively favorable characterizations. Knoxville's plot against Heigl's boyfriend is hysterical, his camaraderie in the group is fresh and believable, and his romantic inclinations are well-played.
With moments of what seem like mean-spirited humor, this is actually a sweet and respectful picture. I think most people expected a bit more of the gross-out humor found in early Farrelly Brother's pictures. This is a slightly more conventional picture that the inspired "There's Something About Mary"--but I was shocked and delighted by how much I actually liked "The Ringer." KGHarris, 12/06.

The Wild Wonderful Whites of West Virginia (2009) Review

I have been a fan of the original Dancing Outlaw videos since day one, but they do not hold a candle to this raw look into the real world of the White's family. The old videos were almost caddy and goofy, With a little bit of serious info. This video on the other hand actually does reveal what the family is really about. Its a very intimate, raw, no holds barred look into their world. The crew at DICKHOUSE know what they are doing. This documentary is very well put together and very entertaining. My hat's off to you DICKHOUSE. Thank you for putting out this video for the world to see. It's a masterpiece.
