Elimination chamber match for the WWE championship
Sheamus vs. John Cena vs. Triple H vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Randy Orton vs. Ted DiBiase
This was a dissapointment. When i saw the participants in this bout, i thought that this match would be a classic, but all this did was just dissapoint me. Orton and DiBiase pratically dissected Kofi Kingston. All hope was gone in this match for this match when Orton was the first one eliminated. This match never matched expectations until it came down to the game and the white rapper they call John Cena. I was a little happy until Mr.McMahon called for the next match on this card. 3.25/5

John Cena vs. Batista
This was just another screw job to the WWE and was pure domination from Batista, all this was just for Batista helping McMahon with attacks from Bret Hart. This match SUCKS!!!!!!!!!! 1.5/5
Intercontinental championship
Drew McIntyre vs. Kane
This match was a little of a surprise. This match was had some dirty work from McIntyre and some huge ground and pound from Kane. This match could have been better but the WWE was just really misusing Kane here, why would they put McIntyre to beat the former WWF champion Kane, but anyways, this match was alright, but could have been better. 3.5/5

This match was changed into a just terrible match.

This was, you know what, no comment. no rating.
United States championship
The Miz vs. MVP
This match was actually enjoyable. This had some pretty nice moments and was back and forth for some moments. But this ended up with The Loser, the miz to get another cheep win. But this match is watchable and is pretty solid. Nicely done. 3/5

Eliminaton chamber match for the World Heavyweight championship
Undertaker vs. Chris Jericho vs. R-Truth vs. CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio vs. John Morrison
This match i thought wouldn't live up to expectations, but i was wrong, this was better than the WWE title chamber earlier that night, but was evenly matched with last years world title chamber. This was very good and was hardcore at some times. Some huge moments like the 2 pods being smashed, another is the chokeslam to morrison on the steel, and another is the shocking, yet predictable ending with a sweet chine music delivered to taker. I really did like this match and thought it couldn't be any better. This was enjoyable and does have OH MY GOD! moments, very well done by all superstars and well played out by each and everyone of them. 4.5/5
Over all, this was a very nice ppv, well, mostly for the chambers, but other than that, the ppv stinks, but this is recommended(only for the chambers).

(More customer reviews)"Triple H - The Game" gives a good rundown of the career of Michael Paul Levesque, aka Hunter Hearst Helmsley, aka Triple H aka The Game. The 77 minute feature, through interviews with Triple H and other luminaries such as Mick Foley, Ric Flair, Steve Austin, The Undertaker, Kurt Angle, Chris Jericho, Pat Patterson, J.R. and Edge, plus select footage, discusses his rise to the top of the WWF/E but gives a general overview of his WWF career and in fact briefly discusses his short stint in the old WCW.
THE FEATURE:
The feature talks about the following:
1.His boyhood idolization of Ric Flair.
2.His stint in WCW as Terra Ryzing/Jean-Paul Levesque
3.His early stint in the WWF as American Blueblood Hunter Hearst Helmsley
4.The infamous "MSG Incident."
5.His phenomenal year 2000 including his feuds with Mick Foley and Kurt Angle (including the comedic spots with Foley and the love triangle with Stephanie and Kurt)
6.His Wrestlemania X-7 match against the Undertaker
7.His quad injury in 2001 and coverage of his surgery and subsequent loooooooong rehab process.

THE DVD FEATURES
Again the WWE is going to Vault for some great stuff. These are the DVD extras included on this release:
1. Triple H vs. Cactus Jack, Street Fight, from Royal Rumble 2000: The match that firmly established Triple H as a legitimate main eventer. All-out hardcore war as the Hardcore Legend. 5 stars. You can turn on the optional commentary track for this match with Triple H and the Coach if you wish. It's a great listen.
2.Un-aired sketch from Triple H's hosting of MadTV. Will Sasso treats us to his humorous (and near dead-on) impressions of Triple H, The Rock, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and the Undertaker. Hilarious!!!
3.Triple H's Favorite Match: "Nature Boy" Ric Flair (challenger) vs. Ricky "the Dragon" Steamboat (champion) for the NWA Heavyweight Title from Wrestle War '89. Bob Caudle and (a young) Jim Ross on commentary. Terry Funk, the legendary Lou Thesz (RIP) and Pat `O Conner are judges for this contest. 30 minute 5 star Match of the Year classic. This match culminated the red-hot Flair/Steamboat feud and transitioned the equally hot Flair/Funk feud. Truly one of THE GREATEST contests of all time and worth the price of admission alone.
4.The Test and Stephanie McMahon wedding from Monday Night Raw, 11/29/99. The angle that jettisoned Triple H into the main event and set-up the infamous "McMahon-Helmsley FacGime."
5.Triple H's WWF debut match, Hunter Hearst Helmsley vs. Buck Zumhoff, 4/28/95. Gorilla Monsoon and J.R. on commentary. 3 minute jobber squash.
THE VERDICT:
Overall, this is definitely one of the better personality tapes the WWE has put out this year. The bonus matches were great as it was interesting to see J.R. in his younger days and it was just awesome hearing Gorilla Monsoon's (RIP) voice again. Overall, the extras alone are worth the price of admission alone.
Whether you like Triple H or not, you can't go wrong with this one.

WWE: Batista - I Walk Alone (2009) Review

(More customer reviews)Now before I get started, I'll admit that I'm not a big Batista fan. I'll admit that I believe there are plenty of other subjects & wrestlers in WWE that are more indemand to be released onto DVD than Batista (just like a majority of the Chris Jericho supporters in the previous reviews & I personally would like more "legends" sets using the footage from their vault). However, I'm not blind either in that it's a fact that Batista has been one of the biggest & most popular stars in WWE for going on the past 5 years weather I like it or not & regardless if I do or don't agree with the reasons that is...and another thing I can't deny is that Batista has been in some of the best matches on certain PPV cards for the past couple of years. The guy is already in his 40's & he's not expected to be around for a very long time either so it's better business to strike while he's still at the peak of his popularity & career. Not everything WWE Home Video puts out appeals to all audiences and this is one of those cases where you just have made up your mind & don't care for Batista then this release isn't for you, this was the decision that was made weather we like it or not & there isn't anything we can do about it now.
The documentry stars off talking about Batista's childhood growing up in the rough area of Washington D.C. and how he came the "man of the house" at an early age before going into his experiences of moving to San Francisco & Virginia. How he started weightlifting in high school & his early "easy money" jobs were talked about before going in the story of his relationship with his future (now ex) wife Angie. How Batista got involved with wrestling originally through WCW & later with a WWE Hall Of Famer was talked about before getting into the story behind his WWE developmental character Leviathan. His career starting as Deacon Batista & eventually becoming a member of Evolution is discussed with various important moment being highlighed. How the fans "chose him" over Randy Orton leading to his WrestleMania match against Triple H is also talked about including various issues he had going into the match & the incident that happened backstage after the match as well. The documentry got real personal as the negative effect the business had on his relationship with Angie along with Dave's issues with his oldest daughter were heavily discussed. The move to SmackDown (and the "heat" he had backstage with the roster) & how close he got with Eddie Guerrero & Rey Mysterio is discussed before heavily going into the popularity he's had with the Philippino community. The story behind him forfitting the World Title due to injury, his surgery & comeback, and regaining the title from King Booker is discussed before talking about his feuds against Undertaker, Edge, and Shawn Michaels before closing out the documentry on his celebrity status leading into other TV shows & various magazine covers.
DVD extras include bonus stories of Batista talking about a brutal version of "Hide & Seek" he used to play as a kid, Batista & his mom telling stories of his rough neighborhood that resulted in 3 different shootings in his first yard, being a lifeguard at the community pool, funny story behind filming a Leviathan segment, what happened when Dave spent $500 on a new suit for his WWE debut, what happened when he went to a pool tournament with Triple H, the moment he gained the most respect for Eddie Guerrero & how Eddie helped Dave's relationship with his daughter, a gift he gave Chavo Guerrero, and the story behind his "geeky" lunchbox collection.
Also include are two disc of bonus matches including...
vs. Kane - This match was just wasn't good & boring for the most part. Batista was still very green at the time & Kane can only carry his opposition so far in a match but it just didn't work here.
Armageddon '02
vs. World Champion Triple H - The match itself was just HHH beating down on Batista until he pissed him off & "unleashed the Animal" & beat up HHH in a way we haven't seen in a long time, at that point, all the way to winning the World Heavyweight Championship. If you watch the documentry, you'll find out an interesting fact in that Batista didn't have feeling in one of his legs during this match.
WrestleMania 21
Hell In A Cell Match vs. Triple H - An awesome match that tops their WrestleMania match by so many points . You could see the hardcore influence in this match as so many hardcore weapons (barbed wire chairs for example) were used. Triple H bleeds buckets once again and is one of this best matches of not just the night but his career period.
Vengeance '05
("Triple H: King Of Kings" & "Hell In A Cell")
No Holds Barred Match vs. JBL - This match was pretty short & sweet but if you saw their Great American Bash match, you'll know why. Batista was also in his hometown so he put on one of this best performances given the conditions.
SummerSlam '05
vs. Eddie Guerrero - This was more about "putting over a storyline" than having a great match because Eddie was putting over the storyline of "not lying, cheating, and stealing." The match was good but again, nothing really memorable besides the fact that this was the last we'll see of Eddie Guerrero on WWE PPV.
No Mercy '05
("Viva La Raza: The Legacy Of Eddie Guerrero")
vs. World Champion King Booker - This match was about one thing, Batista winning the belt back in the arena he lost it in. This was better than their SummerSlam match but that's not saying much. This was another performance that Batista "walked through" to the point to where the people started to leave & you could hear small "boring" chants. Again, it wasn't a horrible match but it was just dry & boring.
Survivor Series '06
vs. Undertaker - Taker's Undefeated Streak vs. Batista's Title and I'll be point blank honest, this was the match that should have ended the show. This was Batista's best showing since he returned from his injury as he stepped up his game & didn't show any lack of effort like most of his previous performances. This was a classic "big money" WrestleMania match & the match of the night for me as you saw the crowd off the chain thoughout the bout & even moments where it looked like Batista was going to end the streak & one spot to look out for would be Undertaker's big dive onto Batista. It's ironic that this was the 20 year anniversary of WrestleMania 3 but Undertaker walks out of his WM the same way he did 10 years earlier...as a champion.
WrestleMania 23
Steel Cage Match vs. World Champion Edge - Well, this heavily makes up for their Judgment Day match as Batista did carry his own weight here in this cage match. It's wasn't a bloody massacre (eventhough Edge got a bad gash near his lip) but a watchable matchup where again, it was so close between both men.
One Night Stand '07
w/Special Referee "Stone Cold" Steve Austin vs. Undertaker - Undertaker brought out the type of performance from Batista that he needed after that godawful series of matches with Khali. Just like their previous trilogy of matches, this was a awesome match from start to finish.
Cyber Sunday '07
vs. John Cena - Both Cena & Batista have a reputation for being too "off & on/hot & cold" during their matches but that wasn't the case here as both men brought forth a strong effort & were on the ball in this match. Batista used a different type of offense than we normally see from him as he showed signs of Ric Flair's offense of attack the leg & even used the figure four submission along with a rear naked choke later on while Cena also worked on the leg to set up the STFU. From reversing each others moves like the powerslam into the FU & the leg drop off the top into a powerbomb before Batista unleashed "the animal" and proved he was as as Michael Cole put it, "three seconds better than Cena.".
SummerSlam '08
vs. Randy Orton - After teasing a match between these two since the days of Evolution, they lock up for the first time ever...since the episode of RAW after WrestleMania 21. This was one of those matches that I honestly felt didn't go past "first gear" as they kept the same pace throughout the match with it only picking up at various spots with their impact moves & counters instead of just building up over time but I'll give credit here for telling a story with each move of Orton's being very calculated. It was a good match but I felt like it didn't live up to the "4 years" hype they used to build up this match.
Armageddon '08
Also included are a match as his OVW character Leviathan vs. Doug Basham, Shawn Michaels at Armageddon '03, a tables match with Ric Flair vs. Dudley Boyz from Royal Rumble '04, Chris Jericho at Vengeance '04, his performance in the '05 Royal Rumble, triple threat vs. King Booker & Finaly from "SmackDown" in Dec. '06, and the Evolution reunion with Triple H & Ric Flair vs. Edge & Umaga & another former Evolution member in Randy Orton from the 15th Anniversary Edition of RAW.
In the end, this was exactly what I stated in the beginning as this is strickly a DVD for Batista fans as far as the documentry goes because the fact is that Batista hasn't had a long career so there weren't many stories to tell but at least they tried to make up for it by getting deep in his personal life & were honest with various subjects (unlike how they heavily overexaggeraed & lied on Cena's) like his backstage heat & his attitude when he came to SmackDown. As for the match selection, it's nice that they didn't get alot of matches already released on other DVD's (unless you buy every single PPV DVD they put out) they got most of Batista's best performances on here (you notice there was no mention of Great Khali anywhere on this set) but...Read more›

Triple H: King of Kings - There is Only One (2007) Review

(More customer reviews)As I stated on my "That Damn Good" DVD review...backstage politics aside, Triple H is one of the best performers in the industry today. He's for the in-ring presence of a modern day Harley Race with the charisma & diversity of Ric Flair. It's been a long time (over 5 years) since they dropped a DVD SOLEY on The Game & it will take the same format that Austin's & Hogan's latest releases are where they'll have his matches with comments in between on various incidents such as getting started in the business, time in WCW, Chyna, the curtain call, King Of The Ring including a funny story about the "crown" itself, the evolution (no pun intended) of his character, his quad injury, Shawn's return, Ric Flair, Batista, Edge & John Cena amongst other things.
Matches include: vs. John Crystal - This was his RAW debut & nothing special past that.
RAW May 1995
vs. WWE Intercontinental Champion Marc Mero - Triple H's first title reign began here as the whole plan involving the "mole" Mr. Perfect came to play as Perfect (who had problems with HHH and befriended Mero) turned on Mero to help HHH win the championship.
RAW Oct. 1996
King of the Ring Final Match vs. Mankind - This was the match that put him on the map & started his elevation into becoming who we know today. This was the most aggressive you've seen Triple H up to that time as he did things to Foley you haven't seen before like the pedigree through the announce table, Chyna breaking the scepter over his back, and Triple H not stopping the attack after he won the match.
King Of The Ring 1997
WWE European Championship Match vs. Owen Hart - The stipulation here was that Chyna was going to be handcuffed to Commissioner Sgt. Slaughter at ringside during the match. Triple H & Owen Hart worked a real good match here with the Chyna factor not really playing a fact until the end.
WrestleMania XIV
vs. WWE Champion Mankind - Mankind was inserted into the Austin/Triple H SummerSlam match & walked away the champion. This was the night after when Triple H captured his first of many World Championships.
RAW Aug. 1999
No Holds Barred WWE Championship Match vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin - This match always gets heavily overshadowed by their later encounters as they went hard in the ring & just had an out of control brawl out the ring include Austin "lowering the boom" on HHH. The ending involving The Rock doesn't take away from the match itself & was supposed to set up the Survivor Series match that wasn't meant to be due to Austin's injury.
No Mercy 1999
Career vs. WWE Title Hell in a Cell Match vs. Cactus Jack - Mick Foley's original retirement match as it was career vs. title here. After their classic Rumble street fight, this match didn't top it but did its job in letting Foley end his career with a bang. The story was about Foley promising to come off the cage onto Triple H so he had the cage locked so they couldn't get out but eventually found a way out after he missed hitting Triple H with the steel steps. The ending involving the flaming "Barbie" & Cactus on top the cell was something.
No Way Out 2000
30- Man Royal Rumble Match - They show everything after Triple H entered since he wasn't involved in the entire Rumble unlike how it was on Flair & HBK's DVD sets. Hunter's time in the Rumble involved a confrontation with Steve Austin, a comedic moment involving The Hurricane, the return of Mr. Perfect, and the final moments between him & Kurt Angle.
Royal Rumble 2002
3 Stages Of Hell Match vs. World Heavyweight Champion Shawn Michaels - The story here was will we see the "humble" Shawn Michaels or "Heartbreak Kid?" Just a side note but watch before the match gets started as Ric Flair kept getting into it with the referee to the point where he gets shoved on his ass...it's funny. The street fight was brutal as they didn't do a lot of weapons spots but just instead beat the hell out of each other & occasionally use weapons such as a flaming barbed wire board. The cage match was around 10 mins. with the only memorable spot being HBK's dive onto Triple H though a table. The ladder match wasn't the caliber of HBK's previous ladder matches but it was still good considering the circumstances with the finish of HBK falling off the ladder though loads of tables being a highlight to the point where WWE continued to use that footage in their "Don't try this at home" advertisement before any WWE home video.
Armageddon 2002
Hell In The Cell vs. World Heavyweight Champion Batista - Their third, last, and best encounter. Many hardcore weapons (barbed wire chairs for example) were used. Triple H bleeds buckets once again as Batista wins with a spinebuster on top of the ring steps.
Vengeance 2005
Last Man Standing Match vs. Ric Flair - Triple H brought out the best in Flair (at this day & age) in their feud. Triple H was ruthless while Flair wasn't giving up until HHH had to use the sledgehammer to put Flair down. I enjoyed their cage match better than this but I think they put this one on here since Triple H won the match here.

vs. WWE Champions John Cena vs. vs. Edge - The match was good with Triple H being heavily busted open & all three men working well together.

Hog Pen Match vs. Henry Godwinn - I guess Triple H can laugh at himself because his was a "wrestlecrap" match that is really nothing special past the "blueblood" Hunter being tossed into a muddy pigpen complete with hogs.
In Your House Dec. 1995
1st Professional Match as Terra Ryzing vs. Flying Tony Roy - The match itself was nothing special but pretty funny to see the babyfaced Triple H with the mullet-like hairstyle back then. The commentary with Jim Ross & Triple H is the real highlight here.

In the end, this collection is giving me exactly what I want from a DVD set. None of these matches are on other DVD sets (besides the PPV anthologies), they brought back the alternative commentary, highlight special moments in his career, and the match quality is there. The only thing I can think of that is missing is a match with The Rock since that was one of the biggest feuds from the attitude era. In the end, I recommend.

WWE: Hell in a Cell (2008) Review

(More customer reviews)Hell in a Cell has been called the most dangerous match in the WWE since its debut in 1997. The cell has definitely shorten and ended not only susperstars's careers but also referees and managers. This 3 disc set shows you the best remembered Hell in the Cell Matches over the past 10 years of it's exsistence. If you have seen the Ladder Match DVD set then you will really love this set as well. This set is just as good as the Ladder Match 3 disc set is.
Mick Foley hosts the presentation and he starts off the program by giving a brief back story on why and how the Hell in a Cell Match came to be. The Hell In A Cell Matches that are not included in this set are Undertaker Vs. Big Bossman from Wrestlemania XV, Kennel in a Cell Match: Al Snow Vs. Big Bossman from Unforgiven 1999, & Undertaker Vs. Edge from SummerSlam 2008.
Bad Blood (October 5, 1997)
Undertaker Vs. European Champion Shawn Michaels - In the HIAC's debut match, Michaels and Undertaker sets the bar for future HIAC matches to come. Undertaker just really dominates HBK for mostly all the match. Once the two made their way out of the cell, Undertaker and Michaels would just fight each other around and on top of the cell. Michaels soon falls from the side of the cage & through the announce table after trying to escape from the Underaker. After Kane makes his debut and Tombstones the Undertaker, HBK becomes victorious in the first Hell In A Cell Match. This match is something to see if already haven't. 5/5
Raw (June 15, 1998)
Kane & Mankind w/ Paul Bearer Vs. WWE Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin & Undertaker - This was more of a segment than anything else. Stone Cold leads Mankind and Kane outside the cell to leave the Undertaker and Paul Bearer all alone inside the locked structure. Inside the locked structure, Undertaker just beats the holy hell out of a bloody Paul Bearer while leaving Stone Cold fighting Kane and Mankind on the outside. Kane trys to climb the cell to get in before Austin meets him up there. They do not show us the after math once Raw went off the air and it aint really worth rating.
King Of The Ring (June 28, 1998)
Undertaker Vs. Mankind - This is probably the most known and memorable Hell in a Cell match of all-time and mainly because of Mankind being thrown off the cell. After being chokeslammed and thrown off the cell, Mankind and Undertaker delivers a pretty brutal match. Thumb tacks, steel steps, and chairs all gets involved. After being chokslammed onto thumb tacks, Undertaker Tombstones Mankind to pick up his first ever Hell In A Cell victory. Foley certainly gets a well deserved standing ovation after the match. 5/5
Raw (August 24, 1998)
Mankind Vs. Kane - Just like the match from King Of The Ring, Kane and Mankind starts this match off on the outside where Foley gets beaten up by both Kane and the Undertaker and also falls from the cell through the announce table. Kane and Mankind both takes some hard chair shots to the head. Thumb tacks also gets brought into this match. After Stone Cold Steve Austin interferes from under the ring, the match gets stopped. A match that's worth a watch. 4/5
No Way Out (February 27, 2000)
WWE Champion Triple H Vs. Cactus Jack - Not only was this match for HHH's WWE Title but Mick Foley's career was also in jeopardy if Mick Foley lost this match. The match itself was just as brutal and punishable as Foley's & HHH's Street Fight was from the Royal Rumble a month earlier. After Foley and the Game got out of the cell, the match would only get more violent around and on top of the cell. After once again falling from the cell and through the announce table, Foley brings out his famous barbed wire 2x4 and sets it on fire. After setting the 2x4 on fire, Foley gets backdropped through the cell and crashes through the ring followed by a Pedigree from HHH. Just like from the KOTR, Mick Foley gets a well deserved ovation after the match. And for the trivia buffs out there this is the first Hell in a Cell match where a WWE Title was defended in. 5/5
Armageddon (December 20, 2000)
Stone Cold Steve Austin Vs. WWE Champion Kurt Angle Vs. Triple H Vs. The Rock Vs. Rikishi Vs. The Undertaker - This has to be the wildest, craziest, & most action packed HIAC match of all time. There is action everywhere in this match. McMahon comes out and frees everybody from the cell and then all hell breaks loose everywhere. We even see a Wrestlemania X-Seven preview from Austin and the Rock. This was just a huge and tremendous match. Awesome Hell in a Cell match. 5/5
Judgment Day (May 19, 2002)
Triple H Vs. Chris Jericho - HHH and Jericho by far made up for their lousy match they had at Wrestlemania X8. Jericho takes one of the most brutal beatings ever inside a Hell in the Cell Match. Jericho tried to be tough but I think the cell got to him in this match. A ladder gets briefly used along with a steel chair, ring steps, & a sledgehammer. After being let loose, Triple H & Jericho battles all around the cell and soon make their way on top where HHH brings up with him a barbed wire 2x4. The match ends on top of the cell after Jericho gets Pedigreed by HHH. Watch out for Tim White getting up close and personal to the cell. 4.5/5
No Mercy (October 20, 2002)
WWE Champion Brock Lesnar Vs. Undertaker - Get ready to see a bloodbath because that is exactly what this HIAC Match is. Undertaker & Brock Lesnar shows everybody how violent & sedistic a Hell in the Cell Match can be. Just as brutal and sedistic fighting only inside the cell and not out. Undertaker bleed buckets in this match. Lesnar & Undertaker both uses the cell and other things around them very effectively on each other. Possibably the best Hell In A Cell Match in history. 5/5
Bad Blood (June 15, 2003)
Kevin Nash Vs. World Heavyweight Champion Triple H - Kevin Nash wasn't really getting over with the fans as WWE thought he would so they brought in Mick Foley to be the Special Guest Referee for this HIAC match. This isn't as bad as people say it is. I felt this HIAC is very violent and brutal. All men bleeds in this one including Foley. Not the best Hell in a Cell Match but definitely not the worst. 4/5
Bad Blood (June 13, 2004)
Triple H Vs. Shawn Michaels - You better get ready to take a deep seat because Michaels and HHH tears each other to shreds for nearly one hour in the sedistic Hell In a Cell. HBK and HHH both takes a lot of punishment and a bloody beating from each other. This was a fantastic way to end this feud. Arguably the best Hell in a Cell match ever. This match was just off the charts. 5/5
Vengeance (June 26, 2005)
World Heavyweight Champion Batista Vs. Triple H - HHH and Batista told anincredible story here in this HIAC match. HHH is a guy that brings out the best in Batista and HHH did an fantastic job here in doing so. Everything you expect in a Hell in the Cell match and more takes place. Batista gets very physical in this match. He uses everything HHH brings out against him and more. This is a sedistic match where HHH has to take time off from afterwards. This HIAC match could also be the best ever. 5/5
Armageddon (December 18, 2005)
Undertaker Vs. Randy Orton - Other reviewers point out that this HIAC match resembles more of a No Holds Barred than a true Hell in the Cell Match but I disagree with that. Undertaker and Orton provided the fans a sedistic and a very harsh match to watch. A lot of physicality is apart of this HIAC match. Orton pulls off some impressive counters to the Undertaker. Orton also takes one of the most vicious beatings from the Deadman along with two of the most hardest steel chair shots I have ever seen. A table gets introduced as well and so does some steel steps in this match. The interference from Bob Orton wasn't really needed but I felt this Hell in a Cell match was great. Another big time HIAC match. 5/5
Unforgiven (September 17, 2006)
Triple H & Shawn Michaels Vs. Vince, Shane McMahon, & ECW Champion Big Show - A new Hell In A Cell structure was introduced for this match. Great usage with the cell and the weapons that were used such as a sledgehammer & steel chairs are used very effectively in this HIAC match. It has a vicious and sickening ending with HHH breaking a sledgehammer on the back on Mr. McMahon. This is another hellacious match. 5/5
Survivor Series (November 18, 2007)
Undertaker Vs. World Heavyweight Champion Batista - The new amplified version of the Hell In A Cell continued here as the Undertaker & Batista ended their nealry year long feud. Undertaker is another guy that brings out the best in Batista and this was a tremendous match. Not a whole lot of weapons used but the ones that were, Undertaker & Batista uses them very effectively. They could have used the cell more but it was still good. The ending and the post-match beat down from Edge is something to check out and it really added more to the match. 5/5
Hell In A Cell is called the Devil's Structure and every match from this set displays why. This is an awesome set to add to your collection and is HIGHLY recommended.

(More customer reviews)World Champion Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels vs. Booker T vs. Rob Van Dam vs. Kane vs. Chris Jericho - This was the first ever Chamber match & everyone looked like they legitly could win the belt as one point or another and this match had alot of moments in itself. Like RVD jumping off the walls like he was SpiderMan and even leaping off the top of one of the cells onto HHH & injuring his throat in the process...and even HHH's performance after that injury is something worth watching.
Survivor Series 02
World Champion Triple H vs. Goldberg vs. Kevin Nash vs. Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho vs. Randy Orton - This was suppost to be Goldberg vs. Triple H however Triple H suffered a groining injury so it was turned into a Chamber match. This was a match that had multiple stories being told such as Randy Orton protecting Triple H's championship, Kevin Nash going for revenge against Chris Jericho for his recent haircut, Shawn Michaels ultimately showing his best friend Nash that it's every man for himself, Nash doing heavy damage before walking out of what would be his last WWE match, and Goldberg being a dominate monster such as taking Chris Jericho through one of the pods. This was one of those matches where you have to understand the story they're telling as Goldberg just wasn't getting over as hoped in WWE (weather that's WWE's creative or Goldberg's own fault is another debate for another time) so this was booked to have Goldberg return to his old WCW dominate monster character to get him over...again, a match where you have to understand what they're doing to value it.

World Championship Match w/Special Referee Shawn Michaels: Chris Benoit vs. Chris Jericho vs. Randy Orton vs. Batista vs. Edge vs. Triple H - After a controversal ending to a title match, this was setup to crown a new champion. Various highlights including Jericho & Benoit starting out the match with Jericho delivering one heck of superplex, various wrestlers feeling the impact of being dropped on the Chamber floor, Edge spearing everyone in sight...and I mean EVERYONE, the HHH/Benoit/Orton sequence that went from a crossface to a sharpshooter to an RKO, Benoit's diving headbutt from the top of one of the holding cells, Jericho being Batista-bombed ontop of Benoit, and the issues between Orton & Evolution...along with the tease between Triple H & Batista...continuing. Overall, great Chamber match.
New Years Revolution 05
WWE Champion John Cena vs. Kane vs. Shawn Michaels vs. Kurt Angle vs. Carlito vs. Chris Masters - This was the first time the WWE Championship was defended in the Chamber match & had multiple stories being told throughout this match such as Shawn Michaels starting out first at the orders of Mr. McMahon while Carlito & Chris Masters agreed before hand to remain a team throughout the contest. Various moments include Carlito sacrificing himself while doing a somersault senton to the Chamber floor, Angle german suplexing everyone he could get his hands on, and the teamwork of Carlito & Masters dominating before they divided & were conqured. This is one of those Chamber matches just like SummerSlam '03 in that the purpose was to get a talent over in one match by being so dominate & in this case, it was Carlito & Masters..but it was the aftermath of this match that resulted in in WWE receiving their highest television ratings in years.
New Years Revolution 06
ECW Champion Big Show vs. Bobby Lashley vs. C.M. Punk vs. Rob Van Dam vs. Test vs. Hardcore Holly - This chamber was full of first as this was the first time the ECW Championship was defended in a chamber, first time this match ever happened on an ECW branded PPV, and the first time this was match was converted into an "Extreme" Elimination Chamber which ment that each holding cell held a weapons such as a chair (Punk) & barbed wire baseball bat (Show) & table (Lashley) & Crowbar (Test)...and it turns out this was also be the last & only time an Elimination Chamber would happen under all these circumstances. Before the match, it was revealed that Sabu had been attacked & be unable to compete so he was replaced with Hardcore Holly while Paul Heyman it was made clear that it was Test & Holly's jobs to keep the championship secure for Big Show. Moments during his match include RVD once again showcasing the abilities of "Spiderman", Punk's matchup against RVD that involved his steel chair, Test taking a page out of Carlito's playbook from the previous year when it came to Holly (and the referee botching the count on top of that), Test delievering one hell of an elbow job onto RVD with the end result being the fans chanting "Where's My Refund", and Lashley's dominate performance. This chamber match is more well-known for everything that's happened behind the scenes in regards to the conflicting views of how this match (along with the entire PPV & brand itself) should be booked as it was filled with various disapointments from the crowd such as Sabu being replaced by Holly, the eliminations of Punk & RVD, and how this proabably ended up becoming one of the most predictable Chamber matches in history.
December to Dismember 06
Undertaker vs. Batista vs. Finlay vs. Great Khali vs. Big Daddy V vs. M.V.P. - Taker & Batista started it off & continued their "on again/off again" feud that been going on for the past year throughout the match with everyone else being bodies for Taker & Batista to go though throughout the match & keep them strong. Big Daddy V & Khali were the first two from pods to come out & didn't even make it to the next period with the only thing memorable about their time in the match was Undertaker falling out of the chamber after a Daddy V headbutt that didn't look planned. Other moments to look out for were Hornswoggle creeping out from the bottom of the chamber to hand Finlay the weapon (sorry, cam't remember how to spell it), M.V.P.'s interaction with Undertaker from Taker waiting for his pod to open to his elimination via a chokeslam off the top of the pod, and the final moments with Taker finally getting the victory.
No Way Out 08
Triple H vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Michaels vs. J.B.L. vs. Umaga - Jericho & Michaels started until Umaga entered & dominated with moves such as a double Samoan Drop on Jericho & Michaels hitting his Samoan Wrecking Ball to Jericho through one of the pods later in the match. Other moments to look out for here was the old school Jericho/Benoit "Walls Of Jericho/Crossface" combination done by Jericho & HBK onto Umaga, what J.B.L. did after being elminated, Umaga's elimination before Jericho & Michaels got eliminated back to back, and the final minutes between Triple H & Jeff Hardy before Triple H finally got the victory with a pedigree on a chair. Unlike the other chamber where everyone else was just a body to put over Taker & Batista, Umaga was re-established as a "Samoan Bulldozer" & Hardy was still put over strong in defeat.
No Way Out 08
WWE Champion Edge vs. Triple H vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Undertaker vs. Big Show vs. Vladimir Kozlov - I feel that this is easily the worst Chamber match they've done because due to the 10 min. period where it was first Kozlov just beating up Jeff Hardy who didn't get in any legit offense before Big Show entered & just joined in taking turns beating up Hardy. Normally, the Chamber match is like how the Royal Rumble or Money In The Bank Ladder Match is where it's just non-stop action but that wasn't the case here as that Big/Kozlov/Hardy period just seemed to drag, got boring, and took the audience (the crowd & me personally) out of it. Eventhough this match had a bunch of fun highlights like the shocking first elimination along with the final showdown at the end, it wasn't a bad chamber match but all the other ones they've done have were better. And for those history buffs, this is the first time in the history of the WWE Championship that it's ever changed hands in some type of official cage match.
No Way Out 09
World Champion John Cena vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Kane vs. Chris Jericho vs. Edge vs. Mike Knox - As the chamber match earlier in the night (or the previous match on this disc) wasn't full of suprises & certain highlights, this one topped it. Various highlights include what happened to Kofi Kingston, John Cena's time (or lack of) in the chamber, and Rey Mysterio being the M.V.P. of the match by putting on his best in-ring performance in over a year with his various "spiderman" moments using the chamber walls & his interaction with Edge throughout the match. This was the best chamber of the night as it had non-stop action from the beginning to middle to the end.
No Way Out 09
WWE Champion Sheamus vs. Triple H vs. John Cena vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Randy Orton vs. Ted Dibiase - Before the match started, you got a bit of a "chuckle" moment as Kofi Kingston made his way to the ring & checked behind himself to make sure he didn't get jumped again like how he was by Edge the previous year. This Chamber match made history as it was the first time that all six participants where in the match at the same time with no previous eliminations which made for such moments as both Kofi & Cena & Orton performing signature moves over the top rope onto the chamber floor, Randy Orton focusing on Sheamus to the a positive reaction from the crowd, the relationship between Legacy in the match before Cody Rhodes made an appearence that resulted in Ted Dibiase "picking his poision", Kofi in an usual position of being in a boston crab while his head was wedged inbetween the chamber walls of chains, Cena coming out of his chamber swinging, and the back to back to back eliminations before we had a new WWE Champion....before Mr. McMahon appeared after the match resulting in an aftermath that resulted in another new WWE...Read more›

I already have ALL of the third disk matches on different DVDs that I collected over the years! For me I am spliiting the collection with a friend of mine and am keeping the older matches while he gets the newer ones [new fan]
However if you are a new fan of wrestling, or who doesn't mind buying matches you already own [like me] this is still a strongly recommended DVD collection

The Rock vs. HHH vs. Kurt Angle [Great match that had a lot of interference with Stephanie McMahon and a botched table spot near the beginning...watch the crowd explode when the Rock appears. Great moment when Angle turned on HHH after telling Stephanie he'd help her husband.]

The Rock vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin [The second of the three times the two fought at a Wrestlemania, and their best one of the three. Austin's heel turn is pulled off greatly]

Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Chris Jericho [Finally, Jericho wins the title he deserved more than once! Hopefully the celebration at the end will also be included!]

The Rock vs. The Undertaker vs. Kurt Angle [Three of the best made a fantastic match, one of the match of the year candidates of 2002. Each one hit the other's finishing move on the third man! Try to envision what I just said! ha ha. The Rock wins his last title]

The Rock vs. Brock Lesnar [Okay match to show Brock become the youngest [at that time] champion in history] Paul Heyman gets Rock Bottomed through the announce table!]
Royal Rumble 2003
Kurt Angle vs. Chris Benoit [The best one on one wrestling match in 2003. This is the match i watch over and over again. Best moment was when Benoit german suplexed Angle all the way over so Angle did a 360 turn in midair!
The crowd appreciation for Benoit at the end of the match SHOULD be included to show how much Benoit and Angle entertained the audience]
Vengeance 2005
Triple Threat Match
John Cena vs. Christain vs. Chris Jericho [Good match, this was when Cena was untouchable but the crowd was evenly split for all three men. A great Tower of Doom moment in one corner of the ring.]
There you have it. For me, I would have liked to have seen different matches rather than getting HBK/Mankind, Iron Man Match at WM12 again. And also there were way too many Hogan matches for my taste. I would have liked to have seen other rare matches such as:

If you are an old fan of wrestling, probably the only matches you might be interested in are in the first disk, but I still recommend this DVD for the collection of great matches. Show your friends who think wrestling is stupid this DVD collection and prove them all wrong!!!!
