(More customer reviews)I'm going to get one thing out of the way... I LOVE IT; it's a great little set with lots of little things that the completist-consumerist geek in me absolutely craves. That'll come last though.
FIRST, MY PROBLEMS WITH THE SET
There's nothing of any real consequence. Now I can't deny, the Geronimo Jackson CD is nice and unexpectedly fun, but the song has been available on iTunes for months, and it offers little insight.
Unlike most, I dig and understand that they wanted retro with the VHS, even if a VHS isn't technically authentic to the time period. What bugs me, like most, is that given that it's truly the only thing about the set with real weight and value to the experience, being VHS is just truly inconvenient. The end result is that the major player of the whole line-up gets seriously shortchanged; it's a brief but fairly important and entertaining video, but what are the odds that you're going to dust off that beast of a machine (the VCR) for viewing this thing more than once.
Everything else, which again I DO love, is pretty much fluff. It's written materials and creative packaging with 2 or 3 inside jokes (Hurley's famous garlic mayo), but nothing lengthy enough that you're going to pour over it again later...
*hypothetical complaint--why make one of the patches unique to a select few sets? I'd be pissed if I didn't get it (the submarine patch) given the price premium. Having said that... I GOT IT, lol. But sadly, my co-worker did not, and is thus sad.
ENOUGH COMPLAINING, I LOVE IT!!
It's big, and impactful. You're basically getting a 3" ring binder packaged in a cardboard box. This may be surprising, maybe even off-putting, but the outer sleeve is plain-as-day thick cardboard, albeit with fancy printing to mimic water stains and masking tape. Other than that, it's no different than moving boxes, and I think it's cool. It's easy to imagine they'd have these things stacked waiting for new recruits to grab them.
Inside is everything you need to know about life in Dharmaville. This is where the bonus stuff, while still admittedly just fluff, makes me geek out. You have the map of the barracks, some orientation materials, security protocols, etc., all packed in a firm, sturdy white binder with the Dharma logo emblazoned on the front. The most important piece in the binder though, would have to the confidential folder. Some are mad because yes, the folder is in fact sealed. To open it is to break the pull tab seal. Big whoop, that's what you bought it for. It does NOT damage your set, it's you enjoying your set. Besides, what's inside IS kinda cool, and though I know you can just search online, I'm not going to say here. It's nothing MAJOR, but still cool.
Some complain about the floppy sleeves for the discs. What the video doesn't show is that the sleeves, with discs inserted, then have their own lined binder pouches which, if the sleeves don't suit you, do a better job at cushioning and protecting the disc than a plastic tray. But I do think that the floppy sleeves go pretty hilariously far for the retro feel and are a welcome playful addition.
So, could we have done with more stuff? Absolutely. But then one has to ask, why now? I mean, especially since we're maybe only a year away from dropping an expected $250+ on a complete series set inside a package that looks like the top of the hatch (guessing, lol). Still, given that I could NOT miss out on LOST University (which is not being graded here but is AWESOME), I had to indulge myself in the now.

Donna has had enough of the Golden State. She misses Eric, who, although she doesn't know it, is headed West - despite his parents' objections - to declare his love and bring her home. Kelso, however, has decided he has found the woman of his dreams in Annette, who is beautiful and believes in him. Back in Wisconsin, Jackie is a changed woman, thanks to a change in boyfriends.
107. I Can't Quit You Baby (a.k.a. Jackie and Hyde Get Busted)

As punishment for Donna going away to California, Bob transfers her to a Catholic School, which means that Donna won't get to see Eric as much. Eric is determined to fight for their right to be together, until he sees Donna in her new school uniform. Jackie and Hyde get caught making out in the basement; Eric and Donna try to convince them to tell Kelso what's going on.
108. What Is and What Should Never Be (Part 1 of 2) (a.k.a. Kitty's Pregnant)

Kitty joyfully announces that she's pregnant, but the reaction that she gets from Red leaves a lot to be desired. Eric and Donna continue their campaign to get Jackie and Hyde to tell the truth about their relationship to Kelso. A trip to the DMV seems to present the perfect opportunity, but Fez is the one who seizes the day rather than Hyde.
109. Heartbreaker (Part 2 of 2) (a.k.a. Kitty's Parents Come to Visit) 10/29/2002
Kitty's parents arrive from Arizona, after being told that Kitty has some wonderful news to share with them. Kitty's news isn't what she thought it would be, and throws a damper on the high spirits. Donna learns a thing or two from Bea about getting people to do things, while Eric and Red learn a thing or two from the World Book about "lady problems." Kelso works out his feelings about Jackie and Hyde's relationship.
110. Ramble On (a.k.a. Promise Ring Redux)

In a romantic moment, Donna presents Eric with a ring, much like the promise ring that he gave her, and caused their break up. For Donna, the ring symbolizes their enduring love and committment; for Eric, it symbolizes ugliness. When Eric decides to buy Donna a meaningful gift, he ends up getting her an engagement ring. But after discussing it with the guys, he realizes they are too young and the ring was a bad idea. Unfortunately, Eric already told Donna he got her a surprise and on their special evening out, he's put on the spot and forced to make the biggest decision of his life. Meanwhile, in an attempt to lift menopausal Kitty's spirits, Red gets her a dog: Schotzy.

Eric hides the fact that he's failing math from Red because he wants to prove that he's starting to get serious about his future. Red is so impressed by his son's apparent maturity that he bumps Laurie from the adults' table at Thanksgiving and gives her seat to Eric. This makes Eric think that the time may finally be right to announce to his engagement to Donna. However, the woman that Kelso brings as his date to the Formans' dinner complicates this decision.
114. Black Dog (a.k.a. Ow, My Eye)

When Jackie's father is arrested for bribery, Kelso thinks she'll come running back to him. But when Hyde and Kelso get into a brawl over Jackie, Kelso accidentally shoots Hyde with a BB gun and all hell breaks lose. Donna and Eric argue over how Hyde should deal with Jackie's pain. Meanwhile, Fez realizes he has a crush on his boss at the DMV.

The S.A.T. scores have come in and everyone does significantly better than Eric. He's particularly upset by Donna's high score and blames her for distracting him during the exam. As a result, Eric enlists Red to help him buckle down and stay away from Donna until he retakes the test. Meanwhile, Kelso discovers that he may have a bright future and Jackie pushes Hyde towards a college career.

Jackie recruits the Formans to help clean out her family's mountain cabin, but decides it best not to ask for Hyde's assistance, instead telling him she is attending a doll expo. With Jackie going away, Hyde seizes the opportunity to use Jackie's cabin and invites Kelso and Fez. Donna and Eric get lost on the way to the cabin and spend the trip fighting. Hyde's plan goes wrong when Kelso gets his hand, holding his stash, stuck in a vase just as Jackie and the Formans arrive.
118. Your Time Is Gonna Come (a.k.a. Get Off My Boyfriend) 1/29/2003
Annette, Kelso's girlfriend from California, comes to Point Place to visit him. The entire gang is shocked to learn how closely her personality resembles Jackie's, while Jackie tries to conceal her jealousy from Hyde. Meanwhile, Kitty's parents show up unexpectedly and announce that they'll be moving in for a while. This unpleasant situation gets far worse when Eric finds his grandfather collapsed in the driveway.
119. Babe I'm Gonna Leave You (a.k.a. Valentine's Day)

Hyde's depressed that Jackie still seems to have feelings for Michael. Annette's not happy either, because Kelso seems to still be attached to Jackie. And Kitty takes to her bed, because she feels her mother doesn't love her.

When Bob goes out of town, Eric and Donna decide to "practice" being married at her house. The gang is excited because they think this is a chance to party all weekend at the Pinciotti's place, until Eric and Donna are forced to set them straight. Meanwhile, Kitty goes to the jewelers to pick up a ring she thinks Red got her as a surprise. But she discovers the real surprise: it's actually an engagement ring for Donna.
121. Whole Lotta Love (a.k.a. The Silent Treatment)

Red is angry that Donna and Eric are engaged, so he gives Eric the silent treatment, leaving it up to Donna to try to talk to him. Fez finally does it with Nina; he's happy that he finally did it, but afterwards, things aren't so great. Kelso gives Jackie a birthday present, but insists that he's not trying to do anything; Hyde didn't even know it was her birthday.
122. The Battle of Evermore (a.k.a. Pioneer Days)

Things are still bad between Red and Eric, so Kitty signs them up for the Point Place Paul Bunyan Pioneer Days Jamboree. The estranged men must work together in order to beat Charlie and Mitch, an obnoxious father/son team who have won the past two years. Meanwhile, Hyde doesn't understand why Leo hasn't called him back to work in a while. He takes the gang to the Foto Hut only to find the place has been completely cleaned out.
123. Hey Hey What Can I Do (a.k.a. Job Fair)

Everyone has their own reasons for going to the job fair. Eric needs a full-time job now that Red refuses to pay for college. The Photo Hut is closed, so Hyde's looking for work too. Fez wants to make out with Nina at the DMV booth while "Hot Donna" will be signing autographs at the radio station's booth. And after failing to flirt his way out of a parking ticket, Kelso fears that his good looks will fade and that he'll need a practical job like other 'uggos'.
124. Bring It On Home (a.k.a. Jackie's in the House)

The Formans discover that Jackie has been sleeping in Hyde's room since neither of her parents are home. The best solution that everyone can come up with is for Jackie to move in with Bob and Donna, but unforunately Jackie doesn't appreciate everyone's pity. Meanwhile, Red gives Eric a hard time when he finds out that his son sleeps nude. And Fez has dinner at Nina's house, where he learns that her parents don't want her dating her "third world friend".
125. No Quarter (a.k.a. Jackie Moves In)

The Pinciottis learn very quickly that living with Jackie is going to be difficult. Kelso swipes Jackie's panties to taunt Hyde, who has his revenge when Kelso gets a job at the hotel kitchen where Hyde works. Eric receives notice that he must return Donna's engagement ring if he can't make a payment by Friday. His visits to the jewelry store reveal that there's bad blood between Fez and Fenton, the jewelry guy.

Melrose Place: The Fifth Season, Vol. 1 Review

Thankfully, CBS DVD are having a change of heart with Melrose and are getting it back on dvd after abandoning it last year in the u.s., and in 2007 in europe... due to poor sales, i believe.
(although, as of feb 09, melrose season 3 has been again delayed in europe...it didn't arrive feb 9th, instead now due late may, but i for one gave up on waiting for these releases and am thankful for the region 1 releases i can get)
THE DVDS:
On this set, you get part one of season 5 on a 4 disc set- episodes 1-20 of 34. (As i recall, episode 18 (Great Sexpectations) is a two parter, which aired as a 2 hour episode during the february sweeps season of 97, subsequently this was split into 2 separate episodes in other countries. on the case, it's named as just one episode of 19 on the set... but i believe we are getting 20 episodes). regardless, we are getting slighlty more than half the season, 17 would have been half..
volume 2 will probably be a 3 disc set of the 14 episodes left (i hope this will come in april or may, Dynasty had volume 1 in august, volume 2 in october last year of season 3, so i hope we're given a simliarly short gap between volumes).

THE SEASON:
As for the show itself, season 5 was great for me... a lot of changes occurred during the season, particularly cast changes but the show still didn't lose it's momentum, it's ability to shock, it's strong plots and stories and characters that we cared about... at least not until the finale of the season ... season 6 never took off, the show couldn't recover from the mass exodus by the end of season 5. So, this was it really, the last enjoyable season, in years 6 and 7, fans didn't really connect with the new characters or care about them..
But this is a very satisfying season, because the characters we all knew and loved bowed out with strong stories.
There was Kimmy's cancer battle and battle to hold onto Michael's affections once Megan and him became serious,
Sydney finally got to be her own person this year... and not just Michael's lapdog....in season 4, she became nothing but a comical extra to other people's plots.. this year she found love, first with Carter and then with Craig... and wasn't the finale build-up great... Syd taking on Amanda and putting her and D&D out of business!
Alison and Jake seemed to settle down and were ready to start a family, but Alison got cold feet in the end and ruined it all....
Jane, well jane just lost it for the first part of this season! It was nice to see her get back that nasty streak we saw in her early in season 4 before Richard wore her down... I hated Jane the victim, so I was rooting for her crazy stalking of jake and alsion! Plus, it was nice to have a nut in action since Kimmy was mellowed out this year!
Other pluses this year..
Amanda got her spine back, season 4 and the parezi brothers saga made her such a victim too. She lost her edge... But this year, she was back to her bitchy self trying to assume control of d&d.
Taylor was a nice addition to the cast. Her devotion to Peter by the end of the season was shocking, hitting herself with a door to make him think he was abusing her! Genius, just what Kimmy would have done!
Of course, we did get lots of duds/ copies in the cast this year in anticipation of the exodus: kyle was a copy of jake (the macho hothead stereotype), Sam was the new Alison (starting off a nice girl), Jennifer was meant to be the new Syd (fat chance!) Taylor was the new Kimmy etc.
Somehow, the copying of characters didn't really effect the show this year... it was only when the characters we loved had gone in season 6 that it was clear the producers had made big mistakes in allowing so many central character's leave although most had run their course truthfully. The Split Season Problem:
It isn't ideal to have seasons split but i see amazon are today offering it for $26.99, and that is half what i paid for seasons 3 and 4 on amazon on their release date so maybe volumes 1 and 2 of this season will work out similar to what we paid for complete seasons in the past (before sales, reductions). ultimately, fans have to accept that we are a niche market- it's the old supply and demand scenario--not enough people are interested in buying this series to make it profitable, so we have to be prepared to pay some premium to make it viable to release the show any more... and split seasons is this premium.
In short, it is a a pain, it isn't truly necessary BUT I for one am simply glad that season five (the last truly enjoyable season) is making its way to dvd at ALL.
We have a choice: accept what we are getting and be grateful for small mercies and just accept that Paramount could easily do without the hassle and effort of releasing a series that has to date not been very profitable. Paramount can and will make more money, easily and quickly with other titles like CSI etc which have mass and current appeal, Melrose on the other hand won't make them much.
I don't like siding with Paramount ... I know it would be fairer for us as consumers to get complete seasons ... but the past year has taught me to be happy with what we get.

1.Double Trouble
Becky and Jesse go to the doctor and find out that they're going to have more than one baby.
2.Matchmaker Michelle
(Will you marry my daddy?) Michelle sets out on a journey to find Danny a wife so she can have a mommy. Jesse tries to change the image of his band which takes a wild turn. The Tanners are stuck with Kimmy when a school project is for 2 people to switch houses for a day.
3.Take My Sister, Please
DJ makes a plea to the guys for her to get her own room. But the decision is almost overturned when Michelle decides she doesn't want to live with Stephanie either so Steph moves into the bathroom. Jesse tries to survive Becky`s pregnancy hormones. Jesse and Becky begin taking birthing classes.
4.Oh Where, Oh Where Has My Little Girl Gone
A girls reputation can be made or broken with one small lie. DJ finds this out the hard way when a boy she wouldn't kiss starts spreading rumors about her.
5.The King and I
Family should always come first. Jesse forgets this when gets wrapped up in trying to write a song. He looses his temper and doesn't join the family in their annual picnic.
6.The Legend of Ranger Joe
Tap shoes and bear hugs are the key in this episode. Michelle inherits a pair of tap shoes which she won't stop tapping in. And Joey is going for a job and when he gets it he sends a hug-a-gram to the man who hired him not knowing the guy is afraid to be touched.
7.The Volunteer
DJ befriends a elderly man in a nursing home that she volunteers at. When she brings him home he gets confused and DJ doesn't understand why.
8.Gotta Dance
Many times a child has a dream, but once they get into the process of fulfilling that dream it turns out its not what they want any longer as Steph learns in this episode.
9.Happy Birthday, Babies (1)
The Tanners remind Michelle just how special she is to them when anxiety sets in for Michelle because her baby book is now done when she turns 5.
10.Happy Birthday, Babies (2)
Dino (Also known as Danny) has to fill in for Jesse during Becky's labor as he is taken away for surgery himself. Feeling disappointed because everyone left her on her birthday for the birth of the twins, Michelle realizes that she isn't the baby anymore.
11.Nicky and/or Alexander
Does it make you a bad dad if you can't tell your twins apart? Taking the booties off the twins makes Jesse not able to tell Nicky and Alex apart.
12.Bachelor of the Month
Being (Bachelor of the Month) goes to Danny's head and has a negative effect on the Tanner household.
13.Easy Rider
("If at first you don't succeed try, try again") That is the lesson for Michelle when she it trying to learn to ride her bike without training wheels.
14.Sisters in Crime
DJ takes Stephanie and Michelle to the movies with her and Steve. She has Kimmy lie for her, and when they get sent home, has Stephanie and Michelle lie so she doesn't get in trouble.
15.Play It Again, Jess
Jesse has to learn the hard way that he and Becky are a team and no matter what they are in it for the long haul. Even if it means Jesse has to be a stay at home dad.
16.Crushed
Stephanie freaks out when she sees Tommy Page at her birthday party. Too bad he likes DJ more.
17.Spellbound
Stephanie advances to the finals for best speller in her class. After she comes in second place, she challenges the winner to a rematch.
18.Too Much Monkey Business
Danny's sister shows up at the Tanner household with her pet monkey. Joey finds himself attracted to her but Danny isn't happy about the whole thing.
19.The Devil Made Me Do It
Michelle starts to learn that she cannot break the rules without some sort of consequence. This is hard for Michelle to understand so she runs away. Meanwhile, D.J. tries to help settle an argument between Kimmy and Stephanie.
20.Driving Miss D.J.
Teaching DJ to drive is no easy task for Danny. That means he has to face the fact that DJ is growing up. He's not quite ready to let go yet.
21.Yours, Mine and Ours
Nothing is more embarrassing to DJ then being seen out on a weekend night with her family. And the Tanners get plenty of exposure on this night out.
22.The Trouble with Danny
Danny finds out how the family feels about his cleaning obsession and has to take a hard look at his life.
23.Five's a Crowd
A drive in Movie isn't meant for a date and their 3 dads. This is what happened to DJ when she went on a date to a drive in. Jesse, Joey and Danny show up in the back seat of the van.
24.Girls Will Be Boys
Michelle feels left out because she is not one of the boys. Jesse is seen wearing a lumberjack outfit and DJ threatens to get back at Stephanie for eavesdropping.
25.Captain Video (1)
Sometimes selling a record recorded the wrong way is not worth selling. Jesse is stuck on his career path so the Beach Boys come over to the Tanners to see if they could help out.
26.Captain Video (2)
When Jesse turns down Fat Fish Records to record "Forever" as a fast dance number instead of a ballad he gets some help from a very special member of the Tanner family to make that choice.

(More customer reviews)"Slayers Evolution-R" is billed as the fifth season, but it's actually more like the second half of the fourth season -- it wraps up all the dangling plot threads and deals with the whole Taforashia disaster. And unsurprisingly, things get a lot darker in these episodes -- as you'd expect for the Slayerverse, things start lighthearted and goofy (soap opera!), but slowly become apocalyptic and explosive.
Lina and her friends focus their efforts on finding the Hellmaster's Jar, a magical item that transfers souls -- and currently holds the spirit of Rezo the Red Priest. With the assistance of a living suit of armor named Nama, the gang launches off into their latest quest... only to get tangled in a bizarre scheme of Zuuma's. He's sent Ozzel and the Hellmaster's Jar to a wealthy merchant named Radock, and lures Lina and Co. to the same town.
Of course, nothing is that simple: Radock isn't all he appears to be, monsters are attacking, and Xellos is trying to get his hands on the jar. However, getting the jar isn't the end of the Slayers' problems, especially since Pokota is determined to resurrect Rezo so the priest can restore his homeland of Taforashia -- and he trusts Rezo a lot more than the rest of the gang does. What is the Red Priest keeping hidden from them?
"Slayers Evolution R" pretty much does what the second half of every "Slayers" story arc does -- all the various loose plot threads (Ozzel, the jar, Taforashia) are tied up neatly, and Lina ends up getting roped into a potentially apocalyptic struggle that somehow stems from everything else in the plot. All that, and we get some nice nostalgia moments with Rezo and "Nama" (who seems strangely familiar to Amelia and Lina).
There's still plenty of hilarious stuff woven in, especially in the hilarious "soap opera" episode that mocks all the melodramatic stuff ("The shock of the accident's given me amnesia!" "I have amnesia too!"). But things get much darker after the gang encounters Zuuma again, resulting in some gruesome deaths, creepy monsters (hair tentacles!) and a horrific flashback where we see how poor Zelgadis became a chimera.
The biggest flaw is that the Epic Climactic Battle feels like a copy of a previous Epic Climactic Battle from way back in the first season. Seriously, come up with something new!
Lina is still bombastic and a little crazy, but she also seems more intelligent this time around, since she's apparently able to unravel people's nefarious plots. There's also fun episodes for Gourry (dumb and good-hearted) and Amelia (who gets stuck inside Nama), and poor Pokota is driven to desperate measures to save his people. And poor Zelgadis is forced to relive the horrors of his transformation into a chimera -- the scene where he finally confronts Rezo's soul is hauntingly powerful.
"Slayers Evolution R" isn't an independent season -- instead, it finishes up the stories begun in "Slayers Revolution," and winds up being a rollicking, dark-tinged adventure/comedy with a deja-vuey ending.

Nip/Tuck: Season 5, Part 1 (2007) Review

(More customer reviews)what A LOT of people dont seem to realize is that there were supposed to be 22 episodes this season, making it the longest nip/tuck season yet. however, only 14 were aired. (most likely due to the wrighters strike we're all so familiar with) so for those that feel there was no closure, you're right, there wasnt any, because that was never supposed to be the close, they just aired the ones they had finished.
while i agree, the plots have gotten more and more shocking, and less about the surgery and the subtlties of the charecter relationships, i have to keep my fingers crossed that by the end of the season (the missing episodes rumored to be airing early this fall, possibly late summer) things will turn around a bit and get more involved, and less trashy.
never the less, i'm gonna buy it, i plan to support my favorite show, leave my input, and hope it gets back to some taste.

(More customer reviews)Unfortunately, I didn't watch much TV when 7th Heaven was originally airing so I am discovering it in reruns and am now trying to collect all the DVDs. Every season is great family entertainment and there is almost none of that on now with all the stupid reality shows on TV. It really makes me long for the good old days of early TV (50s and 60s and anything through the 90s is better than what is on today). I highly recommend this for any family looking for something they can watch together.

(More customer reviews)OK, it's a little premature to judge something that hasn't been released yet. And I'm sure I'll make a few additions to this review when the set is released. In the meantime, this review is meant to enlighten you about Series 5 of Doctor Who.
I'm sure I wasn't the only fan who was skeptical that this lanky upstart Matt "Who?" Smith (Ha! Did you see what I did there?) could replace the wonderful 10th Doctor, played by David Tennant. But we long-time fans have come to accept that the role of the Doctor is going to change every few years. And in the case of Matt Smith, the role couldn't be in better hands.
But Doctor Who doesn't just have a new face in front of the camera; Steven Moffat, writer of such modern-day DW classics like "Blink" and "The Girl in the Fireplace" took over the showrunner position from Russell T. Davies. And again, the show couldn't be in better hands. Moffat has been very vocal about his reimagining of the series as a sort of dark fairy tale. And this is evident right from the start, as the TARDIS crash-lands in the back year of 8 year old Amy Pond. The figurative monster under Amy's bed is actually a crack in her wall, one that will have cosmic consequences throughout the season.
New companion Karen Gillan (playing the adult version of Amy) brings a spunky kick to the new Doctor's adventures. Yet one can still see hints of that lost little girl from time to time. Gillan and Smith perfectly compliment each other, as both appear wise and experienced far beyond their years. She almost immediately endures herself to the Doctor (and the audience, hopefully) in the 2nd episode, "The Beast Below," by preventing the Doctor from making a terrible mistake.
The series touches on more familiar territory--the Daleks, the Weeping Angels, the mysterious River Song--yet stays firmly entrenched in the fantasy world Moffat has helped to create. As the bowtie-wearing Time Lord, Smith channels Doctors of the past from Patrick Troughton to David Tennant. He is, as Amy Pond notes in the first episode "a mad man with a blue box." And despite his seemingly unhinged nature, Smith gives the Doctor great dramatic weight when needed. . .whether it's righteous indignation at alien (or human) stupidity, or trying to protect his new companion from the inevitable fate that befalls all his fellow travelers.
Doctor Who carries on in fantastic style, and I for one hope that Smith and Gillan stay with their roles for years to come. I congratulate Steven Moffat and his team for honoring the legacy of Doctor Who, but making it all their own at the same time. Highly recommended.
UPDATE: As expected, the set doesn't disappoint. Doctor Who began filming in HD in 2009, and the Blu-ray format is perfect for capturing the gorgeous cinematography and excellent effects work. There are behind-the-scenes features for every episodes, some amusing outtakes, and a few commentary tracks. And this may be a minor point for many people, but the packaging is really impressive. The cover features a 3-D lenticular hologram, and there are 3 bonus art prints featuring the Doctor, TARDIS, and a Dalek. THIS is how you do t.v. on Blu-ray :-)
