UFC: Ultimate 100 Greatest Fights Review

UFC: Ultimate 100 Greatest Fights

All of these posts have NOTHING to do with this DVD, The product on this page is the ULTIMATE 100 GREATEST FIGHTS... Not UFC 100 which all of you are ranting and raving about... UFC 100 would never sell for $90... you are all tools.... this is a recap of the top 100 fights in the UFC, Fans voted for their favorite fights of all time, they had a series on Spike that lasted about 5 episodes briefly covering all 100 bouts, this DVD *probably* has the entire length of the 100 fights on it, instead of just the Highlights like the show. Ha, even the front of this DVD has Chuck Liddell and Wanderlei Silva on it, which was one of the most exciting fights of all time at UFC 79:Nemesis... Far from UFC 100, Next time you write a review and start telling everyone how great it is, make sure your writing a review on the correct product, in this case, the correct DVD. I do not own this DVD, and Im not saying what this DVD is or is not, but it is obviously not what the other posts are referring to. So Buyers beware, this product is not even for sale until November 2009, and the people below that are "Reviewing" this product, are sadly mistaken.

The Pit Workout: CrossPit Review

The Pit Workout: CrossPit
Average Reviews:

The Pit and it's Master have succeeded again in creating a brutal but highly effective set of workouts. I have been doing the original Pit workout since July 07' and have lost ten pounds while significantly increasing my level of fitness. As those familiar will note, these workouts are hellish (read: not fun and "not Tae-Bo") but absolutely extraordinary and TRULY results-oriented.
If you really want to get in shape these two workouts will go right along w/ the other three on the original workout (i would recommend doing those first and then moving onto these after about three months). The Crosspit workouts are shorter but equally relentless and intense in simulating the experience of "going five rounds." Moreover, a little bit more equipment is required but if you don't have a pull-up bar (used in the second workout) you can use a resistance band with a door-mount.
There are a few recognizable faces from the first work out (besides John) and the production values have increased (it looks and sounds better overall). Also, John assumes a bit of familiarity with the original Pit workout thus, again, i think it is best to do the Crosspit after a few months of the first DVD (especially if you are coming in out of shape [like I did!] or only in "decent" shape.). In addition, there is an interesting set of extra features that expound on what exactly the Pit Workout is, how it works, where it came from, and how to do it best. Once again, HIGHLY recommended for those serious about fitness and results!!!

Bas Rutten MMA System Workout Review

Bas Rutten MMA System Workout

I just received mine very quickly on standard shipping and looks perfect. If you have a heavy bag you need to get this system. It will make working out funner and harder at the same time. The cardio is tremendous and will get your heart rate up quickly and bust into a heavy sweat. I own several systems including p90x, the pit-crosspit- 20s, and Insanity. I use p90x as my main workout and add everything else in the mix in between days (I dont do yoga, kempo, or stretch on p90x). I will actually start doing the bas rutten right after the p90x workouts now and is way funner than the insanity workouts that i was doing for cardio. Dont get me wrong, insanity is great cardio but very repetitive and will wear your knees. The pit is also very good but it does not have as much bag work as Bas Rutten. In The Pit, you will be doing lots of bodyweight pushups, squats, burpees, then throwing you on the bag which is a very effective workout on its own. But the Bas Rutten has definitely exceeded my expectations and is tremendous for getting your heart into shape. And by the way, listening to the audio rather than watching it on the TV like other systems has also impressed me. You can just concentrate on the bag.
