Lil Boosie: Bad Azz - The DVD Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)first of all i wanna say to the kidz review, cut it out, it's easy to see why you have 1 star up there, you are a kid. second i would like to say that you shouldn't judge something without knowing what it is about. this cd is a must have for all of lil boosie's fans. once again the young man is giving the streets what they want, he is pouring out his soul and telling you his life on the album. songs such as MOVIES- which talks about the fact that bigger named industry cats wouldn't show love to a man that has been grinding for so long, i mean come on i'm one of lil wayne's loyal fans but, damn why you ain't send the man a hot 16, we all from the same state. boosie is keeping it real, check out MY STRUGGLE in which he goes into the struggles that he has had to overcome with line such as " walkin' to the weinerschnitzel we was short on a special" (hotdog stand in the southside of baton rouge) music fans pick up this cd it's a must you won't be disappointed.

Love for Sale (2008) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I really loved this movie! I thought it was really funny and had a good plot. I also appreciated the fact that two of my favorite stars from Smart Guy were in it (Essence Atkins and Jason Weaver). This was an independent film, which may explain whatever quality concerns one might have. I think over all, it's a great movie. I loved all of the actors. I hope to see them in some more stuff soon!

This sexy comedy proves that sometimes too much of a good thing can be the worst thing for you. Trey (Jackie Long, ATL) is a young deliveryman who can't seem to catch a break. His whole life is a shambles - no money for college and no game to attract the ladies. After a failed attempt to get together with the girl of his dreams (singer Mya, Shall We Dance), Trey gets caught up by a seductive older woman (Melyssa Ford, Three Can Play That Game) who pays for his "personal delivery services." He's having the time of his life - at first, but this deceptively ideal situation soon sends his life spinning out of control!

Beat Street (1984) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I was franticly looking for this movie not more than 6 months ago, cannot find it anywhere! . This is a movie that must be seen and owned by anyone who loves hip hop and it's culture. Unlike the other breakdance movies this one is so well made, not only does it include artist that are the foundation of hip hop such and melle mel, afrika bambaataa and tina b to name a few but it outlines the culture, from dj-ing to graffity and showdowns on the dancefloor. The rocksteady crew are pure ledgens and for them to be in this movie is just a major bonus. I am propably preaching to the converted here but if you are into hip hop or just listen to the music, you have got to get this movie, hopefully it will come out on dvd 'cos the music would absolutely ROCK.

Widely considered the most influential hip-hop movie of all time, this "gritty, streetwise musical"(LA Herald-Examiner) features a who's who of the movement's early starsKool DJ Herc, KoolMoe Dee, Doug E. Fresh, Afrika Bambaataa and Melle Melas well as the famous Rocky Steady Crew vs. New York City Breakers battle at the Roxy. Uniting the four elements of hip-hopbreakdancing, DJ-ing, MC-ing and graffitiinto an unforgettable experience, Beat Street is a true classic, packed with sharp lyrics, powerful moves and the flashiest dance sets the screen has ever seen! When rapper-DJ Kenny (Guy Davis) meets cultured jazz artist Tracy (Rae Dawn Chong), he is so inspired by her dedication that he vows to use his talents to escape the ghetto. But when his friend, a gifted graffiti artist, is killed in a tragic accident, Kenny comes face to face with the high price of artistic passion.

In fact, I will probably buy 2 or 3 more copies, in anticipation of wearing this copy out (From viewing it Sooooo many times). I have owned this DVD for 2/3 years & couldn't tell you how many times I've viewed it (Not enough fingers & toes to count that High!) Enjoy this at all cost! Great DVD to insert during a party or while playing pool (you can hear great music and whenever you glance at the screen you will see some great musicians playing like they've never played before!
Now I leave you with some lyrics!
*Brainstorm, take me away from the norm. I got to tell you something. This phenomenon, I had to put it in a song & it goes like Whoa! (Amber)*

*Far is solace in the maddening pace, sad state written on my face, not a tight rope, walk but dance uncertain. Game of chance but I'll see it through in time. (I'll be here awhile)*
*I took it as a compliment, regardless what they meant it could have been innocent spent. So spent railing against undeserved dangling precipitants, raining down idiots always flapping in the flapping in the wind. (Sometimes Jacks Rule the Realm)*
*With the words slaying me slow, the verbs that just don't flow, confusing the Use Of Time. Partial stoning of the heart, waiting for something to start, confusing the Use Of Time. But the trying again, makes me think it's all gonna end, confusing the Use Of Time. But every time I turn the volume down, all I hear is the deafening sound of your hearts pound! (Use Of Time)*
